Purses - who else has a secret obsession with The Sak?

Ok, I am not sure what it is about The Sak purses but I've had a long time obsession with their purses. Maybe it was almost 20 years ago?

It was the classic, crocheted shoulder bag in black. As a Mom of 2 (one toddler aged), I was used to carrying that huge diaper bag and just dropped all my "end of times" baby preps. LOL. I was going back to work and needed something a little more "grown up" ... you know what I mean? So, being the thrifty person I am/was, a quick visit to the local Goodwill netted me this purse for around $5.

The sophistication of the crocheted strap and body just screamed "I'm an adult!" In past years, I've discovered the Sak Roots collection which is a boho chic and that's totally my casual side. Aside from that first thrift store purchase, I've found many others along with scoring some on ebay or Mercari.

Did I mention they are WASHABLE?? What, you say? Yup. Ok, I mean the crocheted and cloth ones. Of course their leather line is just a wipe down kind of purse but I digress.
